These handle covers have been designed for large cast iron pans with the added handle. They remain secure and stay in place insulating your hand from the hot pan. The covers are made of thick latigo leather and are sewn up with heavy thread . All the edges are burnished and finished for a smooth easy to clean surface. They will withstand the abuse of the stove top but are not designed to go in the oven. The small handle cover has a tongue that when pushed into place , holds it on the pan.
